I'm a PhD candidate at Cardiff University writing about gender, The X-Files and fanfiction. I'm a writer of short stories, flash fiction and science fiction, and a sometime photographer. My interests are many and varied, and include (but are not limited to) body modification, philosophy, mental health, Harry Potter, Torchwood, science fiction, religion, Dr Who, Terry Pratchett's Discworld, The X Files, Neil Gaiman, comics, the vampire in film and literature and Sherlock.

Pottermore

Well, I got into Pottermore! Found the clue, found the magic quill and registered on the site. I just have to wait for the welcome email now, which I'll get sometime in August or September I think. Very interested in looking at the site and seeing how it encourages fan involvement.
