I got an unconditional offer of admission onto the PhD in Journalism Studies at Cardiff University! My research topic: The G Woman and The Fowl One: Fanfiction Writers' Rewriting of Gender in The X Files.
This seems as good a time as any to start that blog I've always intended to write. Expect commentary on the PhD process, film and TV reviews, various other posts as and when they come to me, and general fangirl activity.
